"Matthew met with me and my mom one day to give us advice about what we need to do to get money for college. He gave us some great advice and good tips about how we can try to get money for school. One thing he told us was to try and get as many grants as possible and try not to take out any loans because you have to pay those back. He told me to apply for the FAFSA to try and get money from the government to go to school. He also, sent me emails about different kinds of scholarships to apply for and which ones would be worth applying for. Matthew has also been there for me whenever I need help with something or have a question about getting money for school. So far, I haven’t had to take any loans to go to school and I’m glad he gave us that advice. Matthew made it possible for me to be able to go to school without having to take out any loans and not having to pay back any money. He also made it possible for me to understand the right steps to take when trying to find money to be able to go to school. I am really grateful for all the help and advice that Matthew has given to me, and now when someone asks me a question about applying for money for college I’ll be able to give them the right advice about what to do. The total amount of money that Matthew has helped me get in scholarships and grants so far is, $36,918 and that’s only for my first 2 years of college." 

"Scholarships. The most confusing, time consuming, life changing, awards college bound students receive. There are thousands upon thousands of scholarships on the internet and they all come with different details. Definitely not an easy task to tackle. So I thought. Matthew absolutely changed my entire outlook on scholarship hunting. After hearing him speak at an event and speaking to him after over email and on the phone. I went from $0 in scholarships to a possible $15,000 that I am confident in (out of a possible $30,000) just in the matter of a month searching for scholarships. My search is nowhere near over and I plan on getting a full ride through scholarships because of Matthew. He is so easy to talk to and beyond helpful. Who knew there was a scholarship just for talking about your favorite ice cream? Matthew did. I've been seriously searching for scholarships for about a month, all because of Matthew's advice and help. I'm going into my senior year of high school and money for the next chapter of my life is the one thing that scared me the most. Now, I have no doubt that I can do this whole scholarship thing and I can do this without stressing. Scholarship hunting is only hard if you make it hard. Answering essays with the answer they "want" to hear rather than answering it with what is true to you, won't get you anywhere. Your hobbies, big or small, can lead you to countless ways to finding scholarships. I'm not kidding, I thought school was the only important thing, but come to find out, I can build a fort in my house because I'm creative and have a chance to win $2,000. That's just one of the thousand there are for creativity. Then there are scholarships for art, photography, travel, apparently ice cream, volunteer work, church, and EVERYTHING else you can possibly think of."
